After 30 years’ in the transportation industry, I have enjoyed working with people, both customers and co-workers alike. This has helped me develop the communication skills and abilities to promote a positive and productive work environment. My past experience range from local P&D driver up to class 1 highway experience. I have spent numerous years dispatching local, provincial and North American lanes encompassing everything from reefer to flat deck freight.As the Safety & Compliance Manager; my duties and responsibilities include: recruitment, training, discipline, driver performance as well as; accident/incident investigation, freight claims processing and litigation. Development, administration and renewal of company safety plans, policies certificates to stay current with changing NSC/US DOT regulations.Develop and administer sound safety policies and practices for warehouse and office staff. Serve as chairperson and administrator of the Joint Health & Safety Committee.My past experience has provided the knowledge and insight to gain the relevant professional skills to execute my responsibilities, while ensuring operation’s run with as little disruption due to regulatory issues as possible.
