 Manage day to day functionality of all warehouse operations. Ensure that shipments are made in a timely and cost effective manor. Work with the freight carriers to obtain the lowest freight rates available while maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction. Supervise the proper packing of delicate and costly equipment to ensure it arrives at its destination in the same condition as it was shipped. Handle emergency shipments to prevent customer shutdowns while keeping freight costs to a minimum. Supervise warehouse personnel in the day to day operation.Maintain the highest level of safety and cleanliness in the warehouse

 Ensure a safe, clean and environmentally acceptable atmosphere for employees during assigned shift. Direct the activities of all production, maintenance and warehouse personnel on assigned shift. Partner with employees to review and inspect quality of production and direct employees accordingly to maintain high quality standards. Perform all production and personnel related record keeping necessary for the efficient operation of the plant. Resolve minor disputes in accordance with the collective bargaining agreement. Communicate production issues as necessary to other Supervisors and plant management. Interpret and communicate company policies to employees and enforce safety regulations. Initiate and suggest plans to motivate workers to achieve work goals.
