With twenty-nine years total of US Government work experience, with eleven years of that being active duty US Navy. With almost twelve years working in facility management as a project manager / COR / QAE for the US army as a GS-11 (engineering technician) at Winn Army Community Hospital Fort Stewart, GA. I then worked for almost two years as a GS-12 Lead Cost Estimator at the directorate of Public Works Fort Stewart, GA. Now I am back in the medical field at Winn Army Community Hospital as a GS-12 as the Chief of the Contract Management Branch.Approximately fifteen years of working in a federal medical facility environment. Thoroughly familiar with scheduled and unscheduled maintenance processes, how to successfully conduct projects in an active medical facility with minimal disruption (this includes full construction and renovations), and the codes applicable to successfully pass join commission which include but limited to AIA, OSHA, ADA, NFPA, IBC, ASHREA, ASHE, UFC, and TJC.Skilled and experienced in engineering and construction principles used in a wide variety of applications ranging from low voltage controls all the way to overseeing construction of entire facilities. Especially those used in healthcare environments such as hospitals and clinics. Including electronic BAS controls and critically balanced ventilation systems used in isolation and operating rooms.Knowledgeable with day to day operations of medical facilities and the maintenance along with the up-keep required to keep them operating in a patient friendly and safe manner.As a Contracting Officer's representative (including COR, ACOR, and COTR), Ordering Officer, and contract manager who oversees all facilities based contracts. I am thoroughly familiar with contracting operations as conducted by MEDCOM , Huntsville Center USACE, and Defense Health Agency (DHA) policy and procedures used for managing large scale construction and maintenance contracts.Experienced CAD operator with the ability to use effectively use Autodesk AutoCAD to draw in 2D and 3D environments to create BIM models. Familiar with using Bentley MicroStation effectively in 2D with some experience with SolidWorks for designing CAD parts to be ran in CAM.
