Subject Matter Expert for assigned ship class modernization and works in concert with TYCOM, Program Office, Maintenance Teams, In Service Engineering Activities (ISEA), Ships Program Managers (SPM), Participating Acquisition Resource Managers (PARMs), SURFMEPP Detachment Engineers, Port Engineers and Alteration Installation Teams (AIT) to facilitate ship specific modernization planning and execution. Develops, collates and briefs maintenance and modernization documents and strategies to all working levels of the maintenance team, to include SES and Flag-level.Creates and validates existing alteration work notifications (WNs) in Maintenance and Ship Work Planning (M&SWP).Conducts availability integration and modernization analysis, utilizing Navy Data Environment (NDE), Navy Modernization and Entitled Process, Validation, Screening, and Brokering (VSB), and M&SWP systems.Manages Mandatory Safety Alterations (MSAs) by generating 2Kilos and tracking them from creation to completion ensuring they are accomplished within the current Fleet Readiness Plan (FRP). Analyzes costs, schedules and performance to develop a baseline for managing the MSA program throughout its life-cycle. Uses qualitative and quantitative techniques to assess the effectiveness of ship repair maintenance and modernization processes. Reports results of data analysis and issues to stakeholders and managers.Completes modernization integration and duration comprehensive analysis and review for planning programs. Support a robust engineering process within SURFMEPP reviews of proposed changes to Fleet Modernization Program (FMP) requirements.Prepares technical documentation and reports, such as Engineered Maintenance and Modernization Plans for manager approval. Prepares written presentations with justifications to gain acceptance of recommended improvements to organizational processes.

Advance Planning Team Lead- Manages PSA/SRA Advance Planning Team, consisting of seven departmental representatives responsible for planning the Ship's Force Work Package and the integration with NNSY/HII.- Works hand-in-hand with the Carrier Availability Support Team (CAST) to plan and execute the Ship's Force Work Package consisting of more than 7,000 work items.

- Managed a team of 21 senior technicians and 150 junior technicians in all aspects of administration, training and combat readiness.- Orchestrated the day-to-day operation of Combat Systems Department and the Combat Systems Officer of the Watch (CSOOW) program.- Organized, scheduled and conducted classroom and on-the-job training for 175 Combat Systems personnel, resulting in watch qualifications and a "TOP-NOTCH" Combat Systems watch team.- Stood up USS Gerald R. Ford's CASREP program. Wrote and implemented the ship's CASREP instruction. Trained more than 30 Departmental CASREP Coordinators in MFOM operation and CASREP writing procedures.- Implemented USS Gerald R. Ford's initial Combat Systems Operational Sequencing System (CSOSS). Identified, documented, reported and verified correction of more than 700 line items of errors.

- Managed a team of 50 military and civilian senior electronics technicians responsible for assessments and corrective maintenance on RADAR, communications, navigation and fire control systems for the entire Atlantic Fleet.- Tracked, managed and closed out more than 3,000 CASREPS during my 3 year tour consisting of 8K technical assist visits and 40K man-hours of Ship's Readiness Assessments.- Managed 1,400 Officers, Chief Petty Officers and Sailors as the Command's Senior Enlisted Watch Officer. Ensured watch standers were competent, qualified and trained.

- Managed 35 junior technicians in maintenance and repair of all RADAR and Navigation equipment onboard USS Enterprise CVN-65.- Planned and managed the installation of a complete FURUNO RADAR system while deployed and underway in the Persian Gulf. Also managed AN/SPS-49, AN/SPN-43 and AN/URN-25 (TACAN) antenna replacements just weeks prior to deploying.

- Lead AN/SPS-49 Technician- Lead 2M Technician (mini/micro/MTR) Led the Atlantic Fleet with more than $1M in cost savings.
