With a focus on building and cultivating technical and commercial relationships, I manage a team of experts that provide our customers and machine-tool partners with comprehensive abrasive solutions that improve process productivity.Over a two-decade span as a Norton | Saint-Gobain Abrasives engineer, I have developed a keen ability to match customers with the right machine-tool builder partner across the aerospace, automotive, foundry, primary metals, bearing & gear, cutting tool and energy markets.Working with a universal network of application engineers and product managers, I lead a team that partners with multiple levels of a manufacturing system to deliver innovative grinding products and systems that improve productivity and reduce overall costs. This cross-functional team tackles today’s largest manufacturing issues by developing processes for exotic and new materials that must be ground but are difficult to machine. As we continue to introduce new processes and reshape the world of abrasives, my goal is to further increase our Machine To Grind (MTG) and Manual-To-Machine (MTM) exposure with solutions that deliver grinding processes that are even more stable and robust, and that replace the high costs of ergonomically challenging manual applications with automated solutions (MTM) and difficult to machine applications that are suited for grinding (MTG).

Since 1998, I’ve advanced my career at Saint-Gobain Abrasives. From 1998 to 2007, my role as project engineer for the Wheel Dressing Machine Tool division involved machine design and project management, product development and implementation, customer & machine interfacing, and material & routing creation.As engineering supervisor for the Diamond Dressing/Truing Roll division, a role I assumed in 2007, I was responsible for the design and release of metal bond and electroplated diamond rolls.In 2010, I joined the North American Corporate Application Engineering team, focusing on technical and value-added solutions for a variety of precision and rough abrasive applications.
