Managed and supported computers and associated technology NBC affiliated television station. Provided front line initial troubleshooting and problem resolution for issues affecting desktop and server computers as well as troubleshooting and resolution of issues concerning technologies such as DNS, SMTP, FTP, and HTTPS. Managed cellular plans and devices, including iPhones and iPads and several flavors of Android. Installed, configured, and supported standard desktop software and operating systems including: Microsoft Office 2016, Office 365, Adobe Creative Cloud, et cetera. Installed and supported news-specific applications such as AP ENPS, Grass Valley Edius 7.5 and 9, Chyronhego LUCI, Bitcentral Precis, Oasis, and CORE, VizRT graphics, and Ross Overdrive. Installed, configured, and supported server operating systems include Windows Server 2008 - 2019, and Ubuntu Server 16.04 - 22.04. Installed, configured and supported legacy devices running operating systems including Windows 2000 and MS DOS 6.22

Provided onsite and remote operational, technical, and installation support for a wide variety of local businesses that did not have their own dedicated IT department, as a 'jack of all trades'. Selected software installed and supported includes: Microsoft Office Suite (including Word, Excel, and Outlook), WordPerfect, and Quickbooks. Operating systems installed and supported include: Windows SBS 2003, Windows SBS 2008, Windows 98, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows 7, and MS DOS.Installed and provided support for home and business class routers, firewalls, and network switches and hubs. Installed, configured, and supported printers, laptops, desktops, servers, et cetera.Configured and supported clients to access cloud-services such as email and system management.

Began as first-level technical support representative for three hospitals. Quickly expanded responsibilities to cover six hospitals, the corporate office, monitoring HL7 interfaces on inter-ministry network and escalating as necessary. Selected software supported includes Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), Meditech, and Cerner applications.

Worked to assist in the production of three games that were ultimately published (MTX Mototrax, World Series of Poker: Tournament of Champions, and Dave Mirra BMX Challenge). Helped set up development hardware for Wii, PSP, PS2, and Xbox 360 environments, compiled and verified bug reports through gameplay and internal bug tracking system, worked with art and programming teams to take care of production issues, and other duties as assigned. Sole first-shift weekend helpdesk operator. Performed all hardware and software repair and troubleshooting, as well as prescribed maintenance duties.
