Completed independent study with Professor Bryce Bow during spring 2023 semester.Description of study: "This course provides an opportunity to research three emerging technological areas–Blockchain & Decentralization, Metaverse & Extended Reality, Artificial Intelligence & Robotics–and the possible effects these technologies will have on entities and managers trying to create and maintain competitive advantage. We will also consider the social and moral implications of these technologies, including their ability to advance and hinder economic and political freedom."

Completed an independent study with Professor Carl Weinberg in May 2021.Description of study: "This course is an independent study project in US history that will explore the notion of American identity, especially its moral dimension, by focusing on a prominent leader of the American Revolution and early American republic: John Adams. We will read David McCullough's Pulitzer prize-winning biography of Adams, coupled with scholarly studies of key issues highlighted in the text, along with primary sources. A student who successfully completes this course will strengthen their ability to do the following:• Explain the relationship between historical facts and interpretation.• Understand the role that causal arguments play in historical scholarship• Understand how historians construct a work of scholarship• Identify points of interpretive difference between historians• Develop their own historical perspective on John Adams and his times• Deepen their understanding of the complexity of the notion of American identity• Research and write a history paper using primary and secondary sources."

Initiated partnership with Assistant Dean of Diversity and Inclusion to create platforms for dialogue surrounding the shared, non-political values of American society. Secured $500 in funding to host IU’s Themester Week event concerning the maintaining of a coherent American identityPost-event feedback:"I thought this event was really excellent. It was fantastic to have the opportunity to talk about deep and interesting questions with a group of people at IU who I may have never had the opportunity to speak with otherwise. There should be more events like this at IU, I think it was a really valuable experience that I would love to have again...the questions were super interesting and thought-provoking, and several connected directly and explicitly to the idea of resilience...having participants themselves actively engage in meaningful dialogue about ideas of resilience is a really impactful learning experience. My thinking about resilience definitely expanded and shifted during our discussion."

Interned in Internal Audit and spent half of summer with dedicated analytics team.

Returned the following year during the early days of the COVID-19 pandemic, and:• Developed digital classroom environments with teachers by focusing on user engagement and effective content comprehension strategies• Built dashboards and executive summaries for senior leadership based on feedback analysis from 700 students, parents, and faculty • Assisted marketing department by identifying positive testimonials for use in publications
