I am an International Acoustics Manager at Baresque, a leading provider of acoustical solutions for building interiors. With over two years of experience in this role, I have worked with clients from various sectors, such as performing arts, education, corporate, entertainment, hospitality, and government, to design and implement customized acoustical systems that enhance the sound quality and comfort of their spaces. My core competencies include acoustical consulting, architectural engineering, design, building, music, and woodworking. I have a Bachelor of Science in Architectural Engineering with a minor in Structural Engineering from the University of Alabama, where I specialized in acoustics and practiced finite element modeling for musical instruments, launch vehicles, and architectural acoustics. I also have a Master of Business Administration from the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where I learned how to apply my technical skills to the business aspects of acoustics and design. Additionally, I am the owner and crafter of MacGavin Woodworks, a musical instrument design and manufacturing company, where I make concert-quality didgeridoos and other instruments using precise engineering and quality, sustainably salvaged timbers.My mission is to use my passion and expertise in acoustics and engineering to create innovative and impactful solutions that improve the acoustic environment and the well-being of people.
