Current• Responsible for designing, building, and maintaining Integrated Test Lab• Current lab now supports 5 different teams running simultaneous testing• Coded numerous LabVIEW programs to help integrate software and hardware• Integrated all hardware avionics into a rack with rack mounted power supplies• Reduce testing complexity to a level that can be ran by interns with repeatability• Added antenna capability to the roof to support MLX, WSI, MLB, and GPS• Trained and managed 3 technicians and numerous interns over the years• Created a database labeling system to track test assets• Conformed all test assets used prior to testing; this includes not just hardware but also software such as CPLD, 9S12, FPGA codes• Spend 3 weeks in Cirrus manufacturing plant as Engineering rep in Duluth, MN• Participated in product improvement team in Cirrus during 4 different trips• Spend 2 weeks in Piper manufacturing plant in Florida• Implemented screening procedures for all Avidyne products before delivery to Piper and Cirrus• Act as engineering liaison between engineering in Lincoln and manufacturing in Florida for every software release • Coded the ACR (the CPU of the IFD) Acceptance Test Procedures, which is the final hardware/software test before product is ship • Recognized publicly for service performed in Duluth with an Avidyne award Performed a Verification Test Cases and Procedures (VC&P), Integrated Software Test (IST) and all other Test for Credit (TFC) activities for MFD, PFD, and IFD• Perform code testing procedures for level B qualification• Assisted in test rewrites and fixed incorrect test procedure• Utilize numerous avionics during the course of testing; including GPS, weather broadcast, traffic collision, lightning protection, terrain awareness productsPerformed offsite DO-160 and DO-160E test at NTS• Pilot and Copilot PFD interconnect for Byteflight protocol• Magnetometer/OAT • EX500 and EX600 MFDs
