I have 18 years experience working within private and public sectors.My finance education led me to starting my career with Westpac Bank where I worked as an analyst across commercial and business banking portfolios. The last 12 years has seen me work within the Local Government setting at Latrobe City Council where I have performed a number of senior management roles including Manager Business Improvement, Manager Recreation, Manager Arts/Events and Manager Family Services. I have a proven track record in managing teams to deliver efficient services, strategy development, stakeholder management and transformational change in a highly evolving environment. Specifically, I have:- Worked with State and Federal Government stakeholders to obtain funding for large projects such as the Gippsland Performing Arts Centre, Gippsland Regional Aquatic Centre and various other recreational projects.- Contributed to the development of key strategies such as the Council Plan, Recreational strategy, Data & Analytics strategy, Arts strategy and Early Years plan.- Delivered a business and digital transformation roadmap that included Cloud transition, improved customer experience and update of legacy systems/software. - Led large teams to deliver community services in line with Council Plan, strategic direction and budget.- Developed and nurtured talent within the organisation to become leaders.
