For the past 12 years, I have been a senior wellness coach serving our nation's military and most recently working in corporate wellness. My mission has always been to guide and direct my clients well-being journeys through self-actualization and the awareness that we all hold the keys to obtaining the best versions of ourselves. Through my own well-being transformation I strive daily to become more connected to my meaning and purpose on this planet. As a natural born leader, I'm highly motivated to role model a life led by faith and the serious value in living a life filled with fulfilling, satisfying, and growth-minded experiences. My career began with six years of top level higher education. One of the greatest lessons I learned during that time was that we all hold the ability to educate ourselves on any and all topics and the confidence to set myself apart from others by taking advantage of this mindset and skill set to continue to achieve higher levels of personal development. I spent almost four years as a health educator contracted with the US Army. Following the four years spent with amazing and selfless men and women who serve our United States of America, I began my corporate wellness coaching career in the financial industry. During the five and a half years I spent coaching clients working in the financial industry I grew what I consider to be the most vital skill needed, not only the coaching industry, but in all of the service industry and that is communication skills. With information now available in an instance and at our fingertips, the bridge between knowledge and action is communication, and this skill, above all, is what differentiates me from other coaches. An overlooked aspect of communication in the wellness industry that I target with many clients is our own communication with ourselves. As stress, mental, and emotional well-being continue to be highly important topics in the health and wellness industry, healthy communication with ourselves will continue to be at the forefront of achieving a healthy, happy, and fulfilling life.
