Senior Systems Operator
Responsible for performing systems duties that support the bank’s IT Department; providing a wide array of network support for the bank’s entire staff.Troubleshooting and resolve issues.Perform daily processing on IBM AS400 for customers accounts; updating and maintaining the bank’s internal intranet including changes and updates.Provide sole support to all bank branches on weekends.Resolves day-to-day hardware and software problems. This includes, but is not limited to, servers, personal computers, printers, modems, telecommunications network, PC/LAN based software.Initiates program runs, according to schedule, in order to complete daily and/or nightly processing including application postings and report production and distribution.Monitors the entire network for error messages, equipment stoppage, program run verification, and overall system performance.
