Bill is an Institutional Consulting Director, CIMA ® and an Executive Director. He has been in the investment field since 1988 and specializes in consulting to Taft-Hartley funds, foundations and endowments, municipalities, both public and private pension trusts and medical groups. He focuses on consulting using asset allocation tools with an emphasis on alternative investments to augment return and risk characteristics of traditional asset classes. In addition, he performs due diligence, as well as monitors and maintains a database of investment managers. Bill is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and completed his CIMA® designation (Certified Investment Management Analyst) from the Wharton School in 1998. Bill has been cited among the Top 100 Retirement Plan Advisors by Plansponsor Magazine (2016-2018). Recent awards include Forbes’ 2019 Best-In-State Wealth Advisors List and the Financial Times Top 401 Retirement Advisers List. Barron’s magazine has cited Bill among the top state-by-state advisors in an annual survey (2007-2019). He was also listed as a Top 20 Financial Advisor by Crain’s Detroit Business in 2008. Recently, the Group was recognized in Barron’s ranking of America’s Top 50 Institutional Consultants for both 2018 and 2019, ranking #8 nationally each year. Bill currently sits on the Investment Committee of Cranbrook Educational Community, as well as the St. John’s Armenian Church. He and his wife live in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan, with their three children. He is a member of the Investments & Wealth Institute (formerly IMCA).
