1. Communicate with management and clients about ongoing products beingproduced as well as all upcoming projects.2. Stay informed on the various PCI, ASTM, and TxDot specifications and testingrequirements.3. Monitor all aspects of the concrete batching operation, calibrations, andcertifications.4. See that the various classes of concrete mix designs needed for both TxDot andcommercial projects are kept updated and whatever testing is required iscompleted in a timely matter to maintain mix design approval.5. Generate spreadsheets tracking of concrete mix design strengths, conformance,and approvals.6. Generate non-conformance, and discrepancy reports at various stages of theproduction process.7. Report excesses beyond allowable tolerances to Chief Engineer for furtherevaluation and recommendations.8. Prepare repair procedures for submittal for any nonconforming repairable products.9. Maintain quality control records, calibrations and certifications reports.10. Monitor PCI and TxDot Audits and work towards maintaining our plant's PCIcertification.11. Write, maintain and update QA plans and QSM manuals.12. Knowledgeable on PCI, ASTM and TxDot specifications.13. Knowledgeable on concrete mix design development and properties.14. Knowledgeable on quality control systems, methods and procedures.15. Assure management and clients that products produced meet or exceedindustry standards.
