Precinct Commander managing 24/7 police services and response for one of our five police precincts. Also serving as an Incident Commander. Researching new and innovative technologies, reviewing current departmental technologies, developing and revising policies and procedures, vendor engagement/liaison, and project budgeting. Oversaw the department’s Criminal Intelligence Analysis Unit and implementing the department’s first Real-Time Crime Center (RTCC). Assistant Precinct Commander:Responsible for planning, supervising, and reviewing the activities of all personnel assigned to the Precinct, which may include an Operations or Support Services function. Supervision is exercised over sworn and/or civilian personnel primarily through subordinate supervisors. Recommends comprehensive goals and objectives and is responsible for their implementation and results achieved. The administrative nature of the work requires considerable responsibility for making decisions regarding actions to be taken, independent judgment in the interpretation of policies and procedures, as well as application of laws and ordinances.Deputy Incident Commander:Providing command, control, and coordination of emergency response to multifaceted mission critical events while providing a common hierarchy within by which first responders from multiple agencies can be effective. Promotional Coordinator:Facilitating departmental promotional testing and assessment while coordinating with a third party promotional vendor, Human Resource, Legal, Purchasing, Court System, and department personnel. Assisting with policy and procedures development. Developing various committees, processes, and testing/assessing materials.

Assistant Unit Commander, Internal Affairs Unit:Managing investigations of incidents and plausible suspicions of violations of law, excessive use of force, officer involved shootings, and professional misconduct. Overseeing recruitment and background investigations of sworn and civilian personnel. Patrol Watch Commander :Uniform Patrol and Criminal Investigations. Planning, organizing, overseeing, and coordinating the daily activities of a designated operational entity of the Police Department.Organized Crime/Intelligence Unit, Operations Commander:Overseeing investigations involving drugs, vice, criminal street gangs, or other organized crime activity that cannot be investigated by field personnel due to the complexity of the investigation.

Assistant Unit Commander, DUI Task Force – Special Operations:Managing impaired driving education and enforcement. Assisting with special events and critical incidentsPatrol Supervisor:Responsible for the direct supervision of daily uniform patrol operations and responses, conduct, appearance and performance of personnel assigned under my command. Crisis Negotiation Team Member (CNT):Utilizing law enforcement techniques to communicate with people who are threatening violence (workplace violence, domestic violence, suicide, or terrorism), including barricaded subjects, stalkers, criminals attempting, and hostage-takers.

DUI Task Force – Special Operations:Enforcing and education related to impaired driving. Commercial Motor Vehicle Inspector Patrol/FTO:Uniform Patrol, providing senior leadership and mentorship to junior officers in a non-supervisory role. Field Training Officer.

Coordinates law enforcement staffing, of over 200 officers/deputies, to meet Atlanta Braves’ needs and event plans for professional sports games, concerts, and other events in Truist Park. Event commander for Atlanta Braves games and major concerts in a multi-discipline operations center. Works in partnership with 911 dispatch, fire services, EMS, and Braves security to provide optimal public safety, manage law enforcement activities, and coordinate emergency incident response. Manages approximately 40 officers/deputies during regular season games and 50+ officers/deputies for concerts and post-season games. Experience based on 150+ regular and post-season games, including the 2021 World Series, worked in various capacities such as event commander

Uniform Patrol Officer, providing for public safety by maintaining order, responding to emergencies, protecting people and property, enforcing motor vehicle and criminal laws, and promoting good community relations. Field Training Officer training newly graduated patrol officers.

Assigned to the Carrier Intelligence Center (C.V.I.C.) aboard the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk (CV-63) where I held a Top Secret (S.C.I.) security clearance maintaining, collecting and interpreting military intelligence detailing the strategic situation around the world.
