I have been fortunate to incorporate many of my hobbies with my skills as a communicator and content creator. I have developed fundamental sales and communication skills through my experience as a sales associate at Sunglass Hut, and gained continued expert insight through coursework and seminars attended through Texas Tech. Because of my class experience, I was able to spear-head a social media page for the Texas Tech Drumline during my years as a member and gained 500 followers, as well as a full social media campaign for Ollie's Liquor, which resulted in an 80% increase of consumer engagement and store traffic. I was able to utilize skills in Adobe Spark and Canva for projects both on campus for RaiderComm PR, and Ollie's Liquor which has opened the door for more creative outlets to improve any companies social media presence. I have also learned the importance of communication as a Drumline Instructor for Monterey High School, as I am in charge of running efficient rehearsals by teaching fundamental skills to high schoolers, and deescalate conflict when it may occur.
