William J. Mueller began his legal career as a litigator with an Omaha, Nebraska law firm. In 1984, he joined a major Lincoln law firm and began lobbying. He co-founded the firm in 1995. Mr. Mueller has received the highest professional rating available to attorneys, “AV”, by Martindale-Hubbel. Mr. Mueller has been chosen by his peers as one of the Best Lawyers in America® in the field of Government Relations Law and was selected a Great Plains Super Lawyer. He is listed in Who’s Who in American Law and Who’s Who in American Politics.Mr. Mueller has served as a member of the Executive Council and as Chair of the Young Lawyers Section of the Nebraska State Bar Association. Since 1984, he has served as Legislative Counsel to the Nebraska State Bar Association. He was elected a Fellow of the Nebraska State Bar Foundation and a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. He is a past member of the Board of Trustees of the Lincoln Bar Association and served as a member of the Nebraska State Bar Foundation Board of Directors. Mr. Mueller is licensed to practice law before the Supreme Court of Nebraska, the U.S. District Court for the District of Nebraska, and the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the 8th Circuit.Mr. Mueller has served as president of the Lincoln Updowntowners, and was selected as a Leadership Lincoln Fellow. He previously served as Chair of the Lancaster County Chapter of the American Red Cross, and as a member of the United Way Board of Directors, the Board of Trustees of First Plymouth Congregational Church, the Board of Directors of the Lincoln/Greater Nebraska Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association.Mr. Mueller is a member of the American League of Lobbyists, the Nebraska State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Lincoln Bar Association, the University of Nebraska Touchdown Club, is a Trustee of the University of Nebraska Foundation, and serves on the Board of Directors and is an officer of the Country Club of Lincoln.Specialties: Government Relations Law
