PEAS (Promoting Equality In African Schools) ZAMBIA LTD – NdolaPEAS is a UK-based NGO with a mission to ‘unlock the potential of Africa by delivering equal access to affordable, quality secondary education’. We currently have a network of 22 schools across Uganda and Zambia, educating around 8,000 students. Currently, PEAS is operating two secondary schools in Ndola. These will be the first of many in a low-fee network of secondary schools across Zambia.Supporting the Finance Manager and PEAS Zambia office in running the financial operations of PEAS Zambia and also its future development, responsible for the daily financial operations and control including administrative management, monitoring of the school finances, assets management and stock control, accounting and financial reporting.

Its specialized in orphaned and vulnerable children.Reporting to the school principal and financial controller, in charge of the daily accounts for the vocational training centre, high school, basic school and kindergarten, accounting for a database of over 1000 students/ pupils who are outreach, private and donor sponsored, debtors control and management, monthly reports on balances and collection statistics, preparation of department budgets in collaboration with department heads Working to tight schedules and deadlines. Maintaining a high degree of proficiency in all Ms Office applications.
