“Give a man a fish, and you feed him for a day. Teach a man how to fish, and you feed him for a lifetime.” This famous Chinese proverb sums up my life’s work. The focus of my career has been in modernizing small-scale agriculture and establishing food security in West Africa.I really enjoy working with people from other countries, especially IN other countries. My mission has been improving the lives of the citizens of developing countries across Africa by teaching them innovative new farming methods and building national growth pathways to update delivery systems. The objective has been to make farming more productive and the marketing of products more effective.I started with the Peace Corps six weeks after graduation from college and never looked back. Since then, I have spent more than 30 years overseeing development in 6 different African countries and 9 years supervising multi-sector aid programs based in the US.I am seeking a new opportunity in the US where I can apply my many years of developmental expertise to help people understand how to improve their lives by taking advantage of the most up-to-date tools and knowledge to boost productivity. If you know of a worthwhile project that could use someone with my expertise, lets talk. You can reach me at williampnobleiii@gmail.com.
