    Appointed as Regimental Careers Management Officer. As the RCMO I was responsible for Career Management of over 400 soldiers ensuring they received their annual appraisals on time and within policy guidelines. I was also responsible for succession planning and promotion within the regiment to ensure manning was maintained at key pinch points to enable mission success. The RCMO is also responsible for Transition for soldiers who are leaving the service either at the end of careers or due to other reasons, this involves direct liaison with civilian agencies to help the individuals make best use of their time. The post is also the Unit Equality & Diversity Advisor responsible for monitoring all E&D issues and reporting in line with Government guidelines. Key Responsibilities:Management of individual careers and guidance.Management of personnel succession to ensure capability is met.Administration of annual appraisal reporting and guidance to reporting officers.To produce written and verbal reports to both military and civilian agencies.Direct liaison between APC and the regiment.Planning and delivery of training, guiding, mentoring and development of junior managers through to senior managers to ensure E&D is conducted correctly.
