Platoon Leader of an Airborne Infantry Counter-Insurgency (COIN) Platoon in the 82nd Airborne Division with a mission of worldwide strategic deployment by parachute assault within 18 hours of notification. Responsible for the training, heath, welfare and morale of a Platoon comprised of 26 enlisted Paratroopers and thirteen NCOs. Additionally, responsible for the maintenance, accountability and serviceability of six vehicles, two improved TOW weapon systems, six crew-served weapon systems, and numerous other items of equipment with a total value in excess of four million dollars. Provided advice and assistance to the Company Commander on the tactical employment and sustainment of COIN Platoon systems in Company operations.

Assistant S4 for a Parachute Infantry Battalion, preparing to deploy in support of Operation Enduring Freedom XII. Responsible for coordinating, tracking and planning logistical support for approximately 800 paratroopers; maintained a battalion budget and resources in excess of 15 million dollars, advised the battalion commander and battalion executive officer on all logistical matters; provided staff oversight in support of unit combat readiness; monitored the battalion's command supply discipline program. Responsible for the review, processing and tracking of FLIPLs and other supply transactions.
