I am currently a construction inspector for HDR, performing roadway, drainage, traffic control, and erosion control inspections for multiple projects on behalf of the SCDOT and SC Ports Authority. I was an Engineering Technician for Berkeley County from May 2021 to August 2023, where I conducted stormwater, roadway, and drainage inspections across several municipalities in the Charleston area, including the investigation of drainage complaints. I was in the South Carolina Army National Guard from June 2014 to June 2022, where I served as a Decontamination Platoon Leader, Battalion CBRN officer for the 4-118th Combined Arms Battalion and the 1-118th Infantry Battalion. I assisted with multiple local hurricane responses, deployed to Kuwait in support of Operation Spartan Shield from October 2019 to September 2020, and mobilized to Washington DC for the 2021 presidential inauguration. Additional duties included Radiation and Laser Safety Officer, Chemical Defense Officer, Article 15 investigating officer, Financial Liability investigating officer, Equal Opportunity Leader, and Battle Captain at the Battalion and Brigade levels.
