William Sanchez is a highly experienced professional with a 40-year career dedicated to supporting the United States Armed Forces. His journey began as a member of the United States Marine Corps (USMC), where he gained invaluable experience and insights into the needs of the warfighter.After his service in the USMC, William transitioned to a career as an Electronic Engineer and Software Engineer, specializing in tactical and training systems. He has worked on numerous projects aimed at enhancing the capabilities and readiness of the U.S. military.During his tenure at the U.S. Army Communications-Electronics Command (CECOM), William contributed to the development of the original Land Warrior program, which focused on integrating advanced technology into soldier systems. He also worked at the Program Executive Office for Simulation, Training, and Instrumentation (PEO STRI), where he was involved in live, virtual, and constructive simulation projects.Throughout his career, William has held the position of Assistant Product Manager (APM) for several major programs, including the Synthetic Training Environment (STE), Close Combat Tactical Trainer (CCTT), Aviation Combined Arms Tactical Trainer (AVCATT), and Joint Land Component Constructive Training Capability (JLCCTC). These programs have been instrumental in providing realistic and effective training solutions for the U.S. military.Currently, William is working with Athena-Tek, where he is actively involved in developing the next generation of Training and Testing Player Unit Radios. Through this work, he continues to demonstrate his unwavering commitment to serving soldiers and enhancing their capabilities on the battlefield.With his extensive expertise, leadership skills, and deep understanding of military training and technology, William Sanchez remains a valuable asset in supporting the warfighter and advancing the mission of the United States Armed Forces.
