I have been teaching Latin and Classical Humanities for twenty five years, professional interests including but not limited to the art and craft of translation; how the Classics influenced Shakespeare; and what the American founders learned from the Greeks and Romans. I am also involved with curriculum development, with an emphasis on critical thinking, creative problem solving, communication, and civic responsibility. Beyond campus life, I am editing and publishing case files from Brooke Barri, private investigator. I also perform locally with my band, The Subterraneans.
