I have spent 5 years in emergency services chiefly as a volunteer Firefighter as well as a paid EMT. Throughout my 5 years I have been fortunate to have placed myself in some unique situations. From March to April of 2020 I was part of the National Ambulance Contract that responded to NYC to work alongside the EMT’s and Paramedics of the FDNY as well as the other agencies that responded. From July through August of 2022 I was a member of the Type 2IA crew that Maryland Bureau of Forestry sent out through a MOU with the USFS. I was on the Moose Fire which for a time was the largest incident in the Great Basin region in terms of scope and resources committed.
