Within my role as a junior buyer, I am responsible for communicating with suppliers globally ensuring that as a company we are leading the industry in terms of innovation, style, and pricing. As such, this is a very hands on role that sees me involved in many key processes, from idea development all the way to ordering and correcting samples. This requires a high degree of organisation and communication, and as such it is a role that I enjoy a lot.

While on break from university I work at festivals as a fry chef on a Turkish-style kebab stand. My role is to prepare, cook, serve, and help maintain the kitchen while delivering excellent customer service in a rapid environment. Festivals and events include: Glastonbury, Radio One Xtra, Formula One, Download, and many others.

My role as an insurance claims handler saw me responsible for the claims process of home emergency insurance claims, from the logging of the claim to the invoicing. Throughout this process, I am responsbile for all correspondance between stakeholders, including the policy holder, the insurance broker, as well as the engineer attending. I am also responsble for incoming calls, meaning that I must have a high degree of industry knowledge regarding differing policies in order to convey the correct information to policy holders and engineers.This job is extremely fast paced, with little to no time to catch up, meaning that prioritsation is highly important within this role.
