-Create and implement business strategies and budgets for approximately 4,000 apartment units within ConAm’s portfolio with annual revenue of $63 million and a valuation in excess of $600 million. -Oversee property management’s leasing and operational results, with a focus on comparing actual performance to budget. Research material variances and provide strategic guidance to property management.-Assess the performance of assets and provide investors with quarterly reforecasts of current and multi-year of cash flow projections.-Maintain relationships and manage communication with private and institutional equity partners.-Responsible for the disposition of 11 assets with a total sale valuation of $394 million including hold vs. sale analyses, waterfall analyses, broker selection, offering memorandum review and approval, purchase and sale contract negotiation, due diligence material review and delivery, closing activities and investor correspondence. -Monitor the development of four assets encompassing 816 apartments, 10,000 sf of retail and a combined development budget of $173 million. -Work collaboratively with on-site and regional property management personnel on the lease-up of developed properties.-Develop and implement the scope of work, budget and funding source for property repositions. -Successfully repositioned 3,300+ apartments with a total renovation investment of $42 million and annual revenue growth of approximately $7 million.-Negotiate cable and laundry revenue share agreements.-Responsible for the lease-up and management of 8,000 sf of office space and 19,000 sf of retail space including broker selection, tenant screening, lease negotiations and tenant improvement design and construction.-Manage third party contractors including lenders, attorneys, real estate brokers, title companies, engineering firms and environmental consultants.-Supervise the condo entitlement process of five assets totaling 1,500 apartments.

-Designed and programmed the Microsoft Excel underwriting model used by the Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage San Diego office, as well as multiple aspects of the underwriting model and narrative templates used by 40 Deutsche Bank Berkshire Mortgage underwriters throughout the country.-Underwrote 29 loans ($246 million) of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac multifamily debt including market rate, LIHTC and assisted living assets both individually and in a team-oriented environment. Responsibilities included physical inspections, historic operations analysis, NOI forecast, third party report review (appraisal, environmental, engineering), credit analysis, market analysis, asset valuation, risk analysis/mitigation and loan sizing.-Presented conclusions to senior executives at Loan Committee meetings. The presentations included an introduction of the deal, an overview of salient facts, a discussion of risks and mitigants and a question and answer period.-Collaborated with the Closing department to ensure underwriting and legal document submissions were acceptable to investors and confirm that loans closed in a timely manner.-Assisted the Freddie Mac Product Manager by underwriting loans, conducting due diligence reviews, submitting loan packages to Freddie Mac, preparing loan commitments and analyzing data for ad-hoc reports typically requested with short deadlines.

-Assisted the Account Executives at this asset based lender, monitoring and examining our clients' collateral, financial performance and liquidity.-Monitored financial trends for each client while commenting on the financial condition of the individual company, as well as its industry.-Calculated the daily cash settlements and wires with agent banks.-Prepared, organized, and assisted with multiple reports for the Account Executives, including Conference Call Reports, Problem Loan Reports and Contract Adjustments.
