"I BELEIVE THAT SUCCESS HAPPENS WHEN I CONTRIBUTE TO A GREATER CAUSE"I grew up in a family of firefighters—both my grandfathers, my father, my brother, and I all answered the call to serve. Helping others is truly in my blood. Firefighting is also where I learned my greatest leadership lesson. As a firefighter, I was called upon to help people through their darkest hours, and I knew that to protect my community, I needed to master every facet of my job. I worked tirelessly to perfect my craft, striving to be the most proficient and skilled firefighter on my engine. In that line of work, there were no second chances, so precision and excellence were non-negotiable.Firefighting taught me a fundamental lesson in leadership: mastery builds trust. Contributing to others by being prepared and dependable is the ultimate act of service. I learned this lesson in the streets of Wake County, and it’s a principle I carry with me in every endeavor, both personal and professional.I plan to transition from military service in fall of 2025, and am seeking positions in relationship management, analytical leadership, client engagement, or change management in the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area. WHY.os: Contribute | Mastery | Trust
