My ultimate goal in life is to make a contribution to the scientific community that I've learned so much from, and my journey so far has been rewarding, though not without its share of challenges. At times, the mental strain of having multiple crucial deadlines was debilitating. However, those challenges have taught me the value in effective time-management, strategically setting my priorities, cutting problems into small manageable tasks and adapting to new challenges on the move. My time as a science student has also seen me responsible for managing collaborative projects involving (at times) complete strangers, requiring me to take initiative in delegating tasks and implementing ideas, teaching me the value of effective co-operation. My Chemistry major has also required me to regularly employ critical thinking skills and the use of technology such Linux and Python to achieve my goals.
