Hardware design includes approximately 48 layer 2 edge switches, 13 layer 3 distribution switches, and 1 layer 3 core switch. Manufacturing areas and other mission groups are separated into VLANs for security.• Designed and programmed Visual C#.Net windows applications to support production efforts in new flexible assembly system. • Programmed conveyor control system for an asynchronous multi station fuel pump test machine. Allen Bradley hardware included a PLC5-60, RF ID tag system to identify the pallets. Barcode readers at each station to identify the parts on each pallet. QA checks were performed to ensure part and data integrity.• Member of a team of electrical engineers that designed and programmed a power steering gear assembly and test machine. Allen Bradley PLC5 for the conveyor and data collection, individual stations had SLC500 PLCs. Performed print upgrades using EPLAN for a machine that was installed in Germany.• Responsible for ordering raw materials: Wire, conduit, etc.• Oversaw and directed controls assembly crew on various projects.
