About William Wang

I graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a minor in Chinese. Many of my current interests are related to robotics and autonomous systems with artificial intelligence, embedded systems, control algorithms, human-robot interaction, and soft robotics to list a few.I spent my college career pursuing these interests and was fortunate enough to have several wonderful opportunities to improve my understanding of robotic technologies in general. To name a few, for my capstone project, I was the control algorithms lead engineer regarding the control of a soft robotic actuator sponsored by Medtronic. In addition, I worked for CU Boulder's AIM-RL lab, which focuses on insect-based bioinspired design and origami robotics. There, I led the development for the embedded systems of miniature treadmill that will be used in the future to analyze insect gaits.I am currently a Research Engineer at ADA Technologies where I have worked / am working on several SBIR projects related to innovative electromechanical and Li-ion battery products. My work at ADA Technologies is diverse and pushes me to adapt and learn different skills for each project, and it is an incredible opportunity for me to improve my electromechanical skills while working on projects that will make a difference.
