I worked in the department of Communications and Planning at the Office of the Parliamentary Budget Officer (PBO).I have created a database using SQL and I transferred publications and metadata into the new system. I have created a program using Python to track PBO mentions in media and present them in a systematic way. I also helped with an outreach plan to inform new Members of the 44th Parliament about the work of the PBO.

I worked with Dr. Elizabeth Bloodgood and Ajah on a project to document how laws from countries around the world create non-profit data reporting regimes.My responsibilities included researching the legal frameworks of different countries, finding primary sources for the laws of those countries, and coding laws based on their implications for the non-profit sector.

I helped grade and coordinated between students and the professor for a course on Administrative Law in Canada (POLI325).

I worked part-time at Ivanhoe as I began my Master's at Concordia University. I continued my day-to-day work at the company, and my major assignment over the semester was to find and confirm non-financial information for all company assets.

I was on a small team that managed most of the data that was used by the company. I worked on large data transfers from outdated software into new systems. Day-to-day, I also helped to organize and validate financial inputs and updated information where needed.

I held this job over the course of my undergraduate studies at McGill. I worked between 7-20 hours per week depending on my course load. I would work mornings from 7:00-9:15 and afternoons from 3:15-6:15. I taught and animated children, helped organize larger scale activities, and trained new counsellors to help them get accustomed to working with children.

The majority of my time was spent coordinating between business units to compile asset-level data into one system. I also analyzed and summarized investment approval requests and other documents for the Senior VP of Global Asset Management, organized presentations, and translated reports into English.

During my internship I worked on 3 major consultancy projects for the World Bank. I compiled and analyzed datasets from Ghana, Gabon, and Cameroon using STATA that were eventually used to create poverty profiles and maps. I also performed literature reviews to identify papers focused on the analysis of poverty in Africa, translated questionnaires from foreign languages, and edited reports.

I supervised a group of 12-15 year old boys on a camp site for 24-hours a day. This included organizing creative/varied activities daily for 7-9 hours. I also helped coordinate camp-wide games for 200-300 children.
