About me:I am a dedicated Data Analyst with a specialized focus on healthcare data within the National Health Service Business Service Authority. My role involves transforming complex data sets into actionable insights that support healthcare professionals in improving patient outcomes and operational efficiencies. Educational Background:I hold a Bachelor of Arts degree in Geography, which has provided me with a strong foundation in spatial analysis, statistical methods, and data interpretation. This background equips me with a unique perspective in understanding and analysing geographical and demographic data, crucial for healthcare analytics. Skills and Expertise:I have extensive experience in analysing large volumes of healthcare data, identifying trends, and uncovering insights that inform decision-making processes. My analytical skills enable me to delve deep into data, ensuring accuracy and relevance in the conclusions drawn. This includes applying my skills in programs such as excel, power bi and ePACT2. With an advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, I am able to utilise its processing power for data manipulation, statistical analysis and completing complex calculations. I enjoy being able to harness the functionality of automating tasks using macros, which can make tasks more time efficient and less complex.My skills also include the presentation of data, which can take the form of pivot tables using excel, which can serve as a foundational tool for initial data analysis before transitioning to a more sophisticated visualization program such as PowerBi. Using PowerBi I am able to manipulate and create interactive dashboards that provide clear representations of data. I have experience of creating tailored reports/dashboards and integrating key data from a variety of different sources. Helping stakeholders easily understand and monitor crucial key performance indicators and metrics plays a part in my current role as an analyst.I also play a part in working successfully alongside multidisciplinary teams to align a variety of data insights, in order to deliver better services as well as ensuring operational goals are met or exceeded.
