.Provide leadership and thought partnership in support of HR Technology & Payroll Solutions for the Asia Pacific Region team’s strategic technology initiatives, in delivering innovative, efficient, technology systems and tools to support the various local and global programs including tools to administer and/or support processes.•Lead and develop a team of HR Technology & Payroll practitioners to effectively execute HR Technology & Payroll operational support and project deliverables•Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to ensure the design and development of HR Technology and Payroll functionality meet the evolving needs of the business•Collaborate to ensure a deep understanding of HR Technology strategies to build a strategic technology roadmap for the HR Technology & Payroll systems portfolio•Partner with key external business consultants and service providers to achieve the best products and service, while appropriately balancing cost and budgets•Ensure HR systems are consistently administered in compliance with company policies, government regulations and SOX compliance.•Manage system upgrades and testing processes, including coordinating the testing with HR business partners and IT•Work effectively with other HR and IT teams, leveraging expertise of others to contribute to continuous process improvements through use of best practice solutions•Consistently identify opportunities for systems and process optimization to drive operational effectiveness•Share functional expertise, industry insights and best practices with others across the company as appropriate •Managing 3 direct reports 6 indirect reports, 5 sites, weekly, fortnight and monthly payruns. •Set standards and practices for all payrolls within the Asia Pacific Region, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, China, New Zealand and Australia.

Responsibilities: •Customer service to all employees and external stakeholders with respect to all payroll HR Systems and employment related matters•Managing 9 direct reports, 5 sites, weekly, fortnight and monthly payruns.•Set standards and practices for all payrolls within the Asia Pacific Region, including Indonesia, Malaysia, Japan, China, New Zealand and Australia. •Individual Performance Plans, quarterly reviews, monthly 1 on 1s•Interpretation of contracts & salary packaging (including flexible packaging)•Award interpretation, EA negotiations and Legislative updates. (Advise the Business on any changes and recommendations).•Calculating termination and redundancy payments•Ad-hoc reporting •Annual Operation Plan•Payroll tax audits•PAYG reconciliations•Superannuation annual review•Sarbanes & Oxley lead for Payroll, Human Resources & Business Process Applications•Expatriate & Executive Payrolls•Annual Review for salaried employees•Managing security of Payroll, HR & time/attendance systems•Processing of payrolls when required•Continuous improvement to payroll processes and systems
