You have arrived here as you are looking to find out a little more about me.... I am a people person. I like to talk and listen to all types of people. I have found in life even when you feel you have the best answer, asking someone else for input can sometimes give you a better answer than you had. I excel at technical sales, I feel its a re-manifestation of our primal instincts to hunt and kill instinct. While there is the "thrill of the kill" with sales, I build trust and loyalty with each client. I aim to meet the clients needs, educate them on the items chosen and present them with a fair price. My potential was noticed early in my career, this quickly found me working on projects, bidding and supervising installations. With my skills and track record I found myself wearing many hats. While I enjoy sales, and originally going to school for electronics. my strong mechanical side has helped me fix, design and even invent solutions for requirements. For over 32 years I continue to have a great career in the electrical, utility, and energy sector. My specialty is energy monitoring and electrical instrumentation. I can communicate with people with little to no electrical background to Electrical Engineers. I love to be part of special projects, especially those where I can invent a solution that does not exist, mechanically or electrically. On any given day I can be specifying a metering solution for a pad mount transformer to working on meter specifications for meters that go on a Virginia Class Nuclear Submarine. My hobbies also contribute to my abilities in the workplace, on any given day I can be found working on a classic car, running my CNC router for prototyping, casting metal in a small foundry, powder coating, welding, and using a plasma cutter. When the workday is done, I pick up my role at Volunteer Fire Fighter for my local town. I have training in CPR, First, aid, vehicle rescue, EVOC and more. Our fire company s 100% volunteer, but due to lack of volunteers our EMS has become paid staff. Going up and beyond I became treasurer. I was recognized for my business abilities and people skills and was voted in as president 4 years ago. While volunteering is often work and it is not for everybody, If you have never volunteered, you would not understand the satisfaction of helping the souls around you. If you would like to know more reach out to me.
