My former practice focused on business law, real estate transactions and land use planning. I am currently retired from law practice

I was the founder and principal of a small business engaged in the retail sale and service of BMW motorcycles. In 2002, I was selected by BMW Motorrad USA to develop and operate a BMW motorcycle dealership in Bergen County, NJ. While engaged in that development, I purchased the assets of another dealership doing business as Garden State BMW. I operated Garden State BMW as dealer principal from October 2003 to August 2005, and built a strong clientele of customers through personal service and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

In the merger of The Coastal Corporation with El Paso Energy Corporation, I was appointed Senior Vice President, responsible for new power development in North America. I headed a team of developers managing over 4,000 MW of projects in active development.

As Chief Operating Officer and then President, I led the international independent power development subsidiary of The Coastal Corporation, with approximately 2,000 net equity megawatts in operation, over 3,000 megawatts of capacity under active development, $20 million annual operating budget, $200 million annual capital budget and FY 2000 EBIT of $140 million.

I was responsible for all international business for this independant power development company, including subsidiaries and affiliates in Australia, China and Thailand. I served as member of the Investment Committee, which screened all projects for advanced development and investment.

I managed both line and staff units, including operations, development, corporate counsel, human resources and information technologies, for major waste-to-energy development company. Based on a proposal I made to management, I founded Ogden Power Development, Inc. and assumed the position of President in 1993. This independent power development business unit expanded from one employee, without dedicated development budget or equity support, to 20 professionals in three offices, with a $12 million annual development budget and up to $200 million in equity support. I oversaw development of numerous projects in India, the Philippines and Latin America.

I joined the firm as an associate in 1974; elected partner 1981. As partner, I headed the project finance and leveraged leasing practice of the firm. From 1983 to 1985, I served as chief outside counsel for Ogden Projects, Inc. I served as investment counsel for United Parcel Service from 1981 through 1985 in connection with equity investments by UPS in approximately $1.2 billion of leveraged capital equipment leases. I also represented numerous banking, industrial and financial clients.
