Corporate Recruiter
Current* Coordinate and execute collegiate and community events representing the ArcBest brands. * Conduct discovery meetings with hiring managers to evaluate talent needs, learn position requirements, determine applicable posting platforms and preferred interview processes. * Build strong relationships with student organizations and collegiate contacts to source and attract talent. * Source candidates using various platforms including, but not limited to, LinkedIn, Handshake, Indeed, and regional job boards. * Utilize ATS to review applications as well as manage requisitions and candidate workflows. * Schedule interviews and administer assessments for applicable positions. * Interview candidates via phone, video, or in-person and provide candidates with company and job information. * Create a positive candidate experience and provide timely status updates for both internal and external candidates throughout the recruitment lifecycle. * Identify and present qualified candidates to hiring managers and collaboratively make hiring decisions, or when applicable, use discretion to make final hiring selection. * Manage the job offer process with candidates including communicating offer information, compensation, benefits, and negotiation. * Properly disposition candidates in a timely manner. * Collaborate with Human Resources, ABTech, Marketing, and Employee Experience for assignments and projects, including but not limited to, onboarding and employer branding efforts. * Stay informed on latest recruiting trends and best practices. * Maintain current knowledge of employment laws, including but not limited to, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action guidelines. * Travel to recruiting events and various office locations as needed. * Other duties and projects, as assigned.
