As a seasoned leader in residential operations and business development, I bring over two decades of expertise in managing complex residential programs, strategic occupancy planning, and fostering inclusive communities. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Residential Operations & Business Development at Georgetown University, I oversee the strategic management of 6,000 bed spaces across multiple campuses, manage a $58 million budget, and lead a diverse team of over 200 professionals and student staff. My role involves integrating complex analytic models to optimize occupancy, overseeing significant capital projects, and ensuring program alignment with the university's long-term goals.In previous roles at Georgetown, I have consistently demonstrated my ability to lead large teams, manage substantial budgets, and respond effectively to crises. My tenure as Associate Director of Summer Programs saw me coordinating housing for over 11,000 summer guests annually and managing multimillion-dollar revenue streams from conference housing agreements.My career began at Brandeis University as a Quad Director, where I honed my skills in student development and residential life management. This foundation was further solidified during my time at The University of Iowa, where I served as an Educational Programmer and earned my Master of Arts in Student Development in Postsecondary Education.Throughout my career, I have been committed to advancing social justice and inclusive leadership within higher education. I have led numerous initiatives and served on various professional committees aimed at promoting diversity and dismantling systemic inequities. Notable roles include serving as Chair of the ACPA Annual Convention Steering Team and Founding Member of A Different Dialogue intergroup dialogue program. In addition to my professional experience, I have contributed to the field through teaching and facilitation roles, including serving as a faculty member for the Social Justice Training Institute.
