Typically I support the customer teams by engineering data and creating simple elegant visualisations to illustrate product performance on customer sites and highlight issues. I investigate these problems and provide a actionable root cause summary that enables the customer team to support the customer, and also the product team to resolve the underlying design or manufacturing problem.I also spin up workflows for insights into new developments for the product R&D team. In testing new solutions they often have data in a variety of forms that require a process for interpretation. I create a data pipeline typically utilising AWS EventBridge, Lambda, Athena and S3, or directly in Power BI for extracting the data. Data sources can include mySQL, AWS CloudWatch, or from REST APIs in JSON format. I then provide analytics and insights via Python manually or automatically in Power BI. I also implement alert systems based on this data using Microsoft Power Automate to Teams or email. I implement these solutions rapidly often in half a day.
