As President of the State Bar, in addition to serving as Chair of the Board of Governors (now Trustees), I chaired the Governance in the Public Interest Task Force, which was commissioned by the State Legislature to report on needed changes to the governance structure of the State Bar in order to enhance protection of the general public. As a result of the recommendations made under my leadership of the Task Force, laws were passed that improved the Bar’s protection of the public.

As Counsel at K&L Gates I advised and represented clients in the areas of business torts, including unfair competition, misappropriation of trade secrets, and antitrust.

As a Partner at Coudert Brothers, I advised and represented clients in business litigation disputes, including arbitrations and jury trials, in connection with misappropriation of trade secrets, trademark infringement, unfair competition, antitrust, copyright, class actions and securities law violations.
