As the Senior Monitor Maintenance Technician, I am responsible for the management a team of telemetry technicians installing telemetry equipment onto company assets to ensure South West Water meets its regulatory commitments. I have been involved in a number of projects from network model builds, commercial, domestic and transient logging programmes and improving network visibility on the Isles of Scilly. My role extends to (but not limited to) policy, procedure and risk assessment writing, procurement of 3rd party services and goods, tender reviews and stock and fleet management.

As the Water Performance ODI Analyst, it was my role to collate, aggregate and analyse outcome delivery incentives (ODI) from across South West Water, presenting them to directors and other stakeholders within the business. An eye for detail and an understanding for how ODIs are calculated and how they affect the business was essential in this role, to insure the most accurate numbers were presented.

As the Central Leakage Technician I was responsible with assisting in the monthly/annual leakage calculations by performing complex DMA flow analysis using data from telemetry equipment installed onto DMA meters. Other objectives as part of the flow analysis were to identify failing loggers/meters, raising jobs for technicians to investigate and remedy. Further flow analysis, specifically around nightlines could also highlight leakage. This would be raised for investigation with the area leakage managers.
