I am pleased to be working with the experienced team at Grand Large Yachting, owners of brands like Outremer and Garcia Yachting. Since their 2016 purchase of US based GUNBOAT, we plan to evolve this brand into new territory while keeping its high performance and luxury foundation. My role is to oversee the design and production of the new Gunboat range, as well as assist with technical sales. I am based in La Grande Motte, France.

My goal is to bring stable and repeatable systems into the production process. Our aim is to crush the 'quality stigma' attached to Chinese products. Head of Sailing Catamaran Projects. Lead current production as well as work with team to develop new models.

Manage in house Design Team, Liaise with foreign design firms and ensure accurate build of their designs on the floor. By working with production, I feedback capabilities and designs to improve methods and outcome. Every aspect of a boat has to undergo some form of in house design work, which I have to oversee.

Co-ordinate yacht build projects. Liaise between build team, designers, in-house design and owners to ensure successful and timely project completion.

Manage MDC as lead consultant. Bring in clients, research Chinese, Hong Kong, Singaporean, Thai, Korean, Malaysian and Indian Yachting Industries. Do detailed reports and analysis to suit clients' needs. Ranging from General Market Information, Competition Analysis, Marketing Strategies to Marina and Waterfront Development Feasibility Studies. Am also involved in boatbuilding project management.

Started in South Africa as part of Design and Build team on 37ft Power Catamaran, was asked to go to China to set up JV. Managed two projects from tooling through prototype to launch and commissioning. Set up design team and led that 8 man team for 2 years. Also did factory design, hands on build, equipment design, process design, purchasing....
