As an IT Technician for the Help Desk, I have the responsibility to diagnose and resolve any and all problems that may arise within the computer systems. The physical scope of the systems consists of around 200 computers (desktop PCs, Laptops and virtual machines, 30 printers, multiple switches and routers, as well as telephone (AVAYA IP phones and digital lines). On the software side, I was responsible for installing, upgrading, configuring and troubleshooting an environment consisting of Windows XP and 7, Office 2007 and 2010 and Symantec Antivirus 2012. In addition, I was lead for a SharePoint migration, handling the design of the new site, content creation and security

Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the company’s systems, ensuring banking transactions between the company and its customers in North, Central and South America, Europe and China are successfully completed. Whenever any issues arose, it was my responsibility to troubleshoot the problem and, if unable to resolve it, escalate to the appropriate personnel. I served as the liaison between CPE and Advanced Food Systems’ programmers and helped design the customer service, inventory, sales and routing modules. Designed and programmed sales, purchasing, inventory and billing reports using Crystal Reports XI. Helped with the company’s migration from Windows 2000 Server to 2003 and administrated the Exchange, Active Directory, and print services.
