I was selected to contribute to the music student blog, which was recently created by the music department.

University Of Birmingham

This position involves touring prospective students around the department and encouraging them to attend the university. Teamwork, communication and an ability to think on my feet are essential skills. I am also utilised by the department as a careers success story, due to my successful application to the Birmingham Undergraduate Internship Program (BUIP), which received 470 applications across 12 positions.

University Of Birmingham

I recently undertook an internship under UoB's College of Life and Environmental Science. This was an extremely competitive position, which I earned due to my wide ranging skill set. My duties involved assessing and restructuring the College's Health and Safety policy, in order to make the information more accessible to the College members, while also dictating the direction of the project, which involves working with a wide range of people and utilising my versatile skill set. My work had applications across the University, with particular regard to the Collaborative Teaching Project the University is currently undertaking. Evaluating the success of my work was a primary interest for the University, as was the interesting and innovative way in which I achieved my objectives.

I initially applied for part time bar work at 'The Orchard,' however after submitting my CV I was offered graphic design work on a freelance basis instead. My role also involved coordinating and producing email campaigns and social media output for 'The Orchard,' particularly around significant events such as New Years and Easter.
