Our team focuses on the systems that enable the rest of the company to do their jobs more intelligently and efficiently, as well as those that directly interface with customer equipment. We are responsible for maintaining and improving systems and processes related to device monitoring, our trouble ticket system, customer anti-virus solutions, the corporate wiki, and our cloud portal.In this position, my work entails a mixture of application support, database administration, information management, and workflow automation and optimization.

At Peak10 I have been responsible for implementing new customers, managing complex environments including VMware hosts with shared storage, Linux and Windows server clusters, and various network devices, and have written corporate standards for managed Linux systems (including support and troubleshooting steps for full LAMP stacks and a handful of select other applications). Because of my knowledge, understanding of customer needs, and troubleshooting abilities, I am often asked to assist support staff in other markets, and sometimes even to take over support of accounts that are in jeopardy.I am the team lead for the Technical Assistance Engineers (tier 3 support) for the Mid-Atlantic region. In this role I have organized and led region-wide summits where my colleagues and I have jointly developed corporate-wide standards for system design and implementation, developed processes leading to improved work-life balance, and written regional training standards for our tier 1 and tier 2 support staff.I was part of the committee to redesign and implement the corporate wiki, specifically focusing on documenting managed customer environments and internal procedures.
