Sr. Supplier Engineer- Supported various RMS suppliers of IR components for multiple weapons programs. Included supplier site visits, and working with suppliers, RMS Buyers, Supplier Quality Engineers, and Program Quality Assurance Engineers• Coordinated the implementation of SPC at a supplier, eliminating Lot Acceptance Tests and saving $3,000 and 10 days of cycle time per lot.BAT Seeker Chief Engineer- Technical lead of engineering support team of 15 engineers for the manufacture of a prototype multispectral IR seeker program that transferred from another Raytheon facility to the RMS Tucson location. Additionally, the program transitioned from prototype, through Engineering Manufacturing Development (EMD) to Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP).  Helped the program exceed delivery and cost goals by effectively engaging with the Program and Operations managers, the customer, and all levels of RMS personnel, increasing deliveries from 8 units per month to over 100 per month during the contract schedule. Led the Failure Review and Corrective Action System (FRACAS) and Change Control Boards, identifying and implementing corrective actions that led to design process changes which eliminated over 40 systemic failures prior to LRIP Maintained the LRIP schedule by leading a team to resolve a supplier quality issue on a critical bearing component. Implemented changes in the supplier’s processing and testing of the part that increased the yield at RMS from 20% to 95%. Participated in Raytheon Six Sigma Team that reduced initial test time of the BAT seeker by 75%Lead Test Engineer- Lead a small test and evaluation team developing test methods and data analysis for a developmental IR sensor design for the Light Exo Atmospheric Projectile (LEAP). • Led the team that tested and evaluated 2 complete sensors for use in critical demonstration.

Sr. Electro-Optical Test Engineer-Responsible for supervision of 12 hourly and salary personnel, writing test procedures, reviewing test results, approving reports and presenting to program management and customers• Led team responsible for bringing on-line automated, cryogenic test station for high throughput testing of IR Focal Plane Arrays for space based systems. Reducing test time by over 90% and allowing 100% parametric testing prior to final bonding operation. Awarded first ever Electro-Optics Outstanding Contributor recognition.
