Worked as a student research assistant under Dr. Amy Englebrecht-Wiggans in the Fiber Composite Reliability Lab at RIT. Work focused specifically on characterizing the mechanical properties of individual carbon fibers. Utilized standard materials characterization practices, along with SEM and TGA.

Worked as a team member on-site in the Ultrasonic Applications Lab. Delivered tailored customer solutions for complex inspection challenges revolving around ultrasonic NDT. Played a key role in designing and prototyping innovative systems for diverse customer requirements.• UT Inspection Tank: Designed a 3-axis gantry system to perform complex ultrasonic inspections with high precision.• Remote UT Probe: Assisted development of a remotely controlled mechanical assembly to enable precise probe adjustments in tight spaces and hard to reach spots.• Flaw Detection Alarm: Assisted development of a flaw detection alarm unit to be implemented directly on the manufacturing floor. Utilized mechanical and electrical systems integration to alert operators of any material defects.
