As a quantitative analyst on the resource alignment team, I worked primarily on the most efficient way to manage our technicians both from a headcount perspective as wells as from a productivity standpoint. There was a saying on our team that "minutes equals millions." This meaning that each minute we can save on a technician's daily routine will save the company millions of dollars over the course of a single year. My analytical work was highly data-driven and the models were programmed using a combination of VBA and SQL to update with the click of a button to ensure accuracy and up to the minute reporting. The decisions that my analysis drove and the reports I was producing, not only impacted the company's bottom line through direct cost savings but also those decisions impacted people's lives and the success of our customers.

I built models using excel and other reporting software that tied data together from multiple sources in order to generate easy to understand dashboards that tracked everything from our professional services margins, to our partner certifications and training. The professional services managers, as well as the global alliances teams, used these dashboards to report and forecast resources, headcount, and project profitability across the globe. In this role I was tracking and in communicating with partners in Europe and South America as well as maintaining a Partner Engagement Manager program (PEM) in the United Kingdom.

As a financial planner, I actively sought new clients and developed financial plans for those clients based on income and risk levels. As an agent on the insurance side of the financial world, I continuously evaluated client's risk tolerance levels and helped them build plans to achieve their financial goals. This experience strengthened my ability to evaluate risk for an individual and in a portfolio and then pair that with the appropriate allocation of assets to meet a client's risk and return requirements.I offered a variety of products and services that helped clients meet a number of insurance and financial needs, including, but were not limited to college funding, retirement, managing costs for extended periods of care and lifetime income strategies.
