In recent years, I have focused a significant portion of my practice in the oil and gas, energy, petrochemical and financial industries, including bankruptcy-related litigation. I have represented major players, like Apache, El Paso, Lyondell, Mitsui Engineering & Shipbuilding and Lehman Bros. International (Europe), as well as small companies, entrepreneurs, C-suite executives, government entities and a first round NFL draft pick. I also have extensive experience in class actions and multi-party litigation and I have been a repeat CLE speaker on issues surrounding multi-party litigation.I have a proven track record of success, securing numerous victories and settlements on behalf of my clients, including a $48.7 million judgment for Client Apache Deepwater LLC in June 2017 and a $4.5 million jury verdict for client Westlake Chemical Corp. in May 2017.In each of the last 5 years, I have been selected by my peers as one of the Best Lawyers in America in the practice area of Commercial Litigation, according to the The Best Lawyers in America (Woodward White Inc., 2014 - 2018).
