The company produces high quality record players and electronics which are sold worldwide at prices up to £50,000. My role is to ensure that the customer receives the best possible equipment from us and that there are no faults with the players. I manufacture the electrical components and produce and test the PCBs for the record players. Any technical problems that customers experience I am able to assist them to solve the issue. I create schedules for completing final products based on information from suppliers.

VIP-Polymers produce rubber products such as rail pads. I worked on the moulding machines operating multiple machines and carrying out fault finding and repair work. I increased the output of products for this company by changing heat settings and injection pressures to reduce the cycle time. As a result of this I was made technical specialist for this role to help the machines run more optimally assisting 30 other members of staff. After leaving this role I was asked back to work as a consultant inspecting and repairing faulty products.

I worked as a field service engineer installing, maintaining and upgrading photographic developing and printing equipment at customer premises.

Assembly of military electronics to a very high standard. During my employment here I completed a three month placement at GEC Marconi Avionics working on specialist military components.
